Day 79

He thought this would maybe lighten the mood, but the only thing the gentleman heard was the shuffling of someone’s feet under his seat. The rest of the car ride was spent with very few words, only "bless you" when someone sneezed or the occasional small talk. The drive was long and simple, they went down the same road the whole way there, watching the scenery slowly change from lively and bustling, to well, dead. There were no houses for miles until they reached the acreage, one yellow and one red house directly adjacent to their new home. From the looks of it, the outside of the house was in complete disarray, allowing bypassers to look right into the living room through a crack in the wall.
