From the looks of it, the outside of the house was in complete disarray, allowing bypassers to look right into the living room through a crack in the wall. “Well here she is!” the man said, almost speaking simultaneously with a tree that ironically fell at that exact moment. Each child stepped outside of the car in a unique manner, admiring or criticizing the house in their minds. Dylan could already see a perfect reading nook and Fiona had her eye on a dusty porcelain doll left on the porch. On the other hand, Sarah thought about how hard this place would be to clean, and Paige dreaded being this far from civilization. No matter their first thoughts, they were going to have to step inside at some point. Once they gave each other the look, they knew it was time to go.
