Day 63

The little ones just huddled around Luke as he spent his days sulking in bed, none of them having the slightest clue about what he had to be crying about. Nora would sit in his arms, put her little hands on his face, and just sigh. If there was anything she hated, it would be seeing those she loved in pain. The older children couldn’t say they had the same level of sympathy, Reese had actually gone over and introduced herself to Morgan, much to Luke’s dismay. She couldn’t possibly see what Morgan saw in her stuck-up brother and thought he had made the worst decision of his life. Despite the age difference, Morgan and Reese bonded, especially over Luke and his pure stupidity.
