Day 60

I ran as fast as I could back to the cabin, passing some of the activities happening on the main field on my way back. I almost immediately saw Sawyer doing a relay race with a couple of younger campers. He was the only one in our cabin who actually did his job, and he seemed to enjoy it as well. His clear joy ran across his face as he dodged the cones he placed on the floor and handed a flag to his teammate so that they could start the race. I wish I could’ve seen more of this moment, but I was too involved in my own personal despair to stop running.
