Day 59

Jane was starved, having only drunk sweet tea all that day. She carefully looked over the goods, seeing which one would best fit her likes, and landed on a poppyseed muffin. This muffin looked fresher than the others, with subtle steam coming from its core. The daisy-printed wrapper slipped right off the muffin with ease and laid perfectly flat in Jane's calloused palm. She ate the muffin in a split second and quickly put the wrapper in the pocket of her dress. Now realizing that it was almost 6 pm, Jane didn’t waste time saying her goodbyes to Harper and quickly rushed out the door.
