Day 47

Just landed in Los Angeles to visit family and friends :) So happy to be here! Here's a quick continuation of my post from yesterday...

Some have called the movie, "inconsequential", which I can't help but disagree with. During what seems like a less-than-ideal period in people's lives, this movie, while sometimes mindless, has the ability to lift the spirits of all ages. Even though it was marketed as a movie for kids, I couldn't help but notice the large group of lone adults in the theater. Everyone needs a good laugh sometimes, and I think 'Minions: The Rise of Gru' was able to achieve just that. Even if the movie isn't "high-brow cinema" it can still have a positive effect on its audience, which I think is truly the most important part.
