Tons of my time when I was young was spent setting up home “summer camps” for my siblings, teaching complicated dance routines to my unenthusiastic muses. I’ve become a chocolate chip pancake connoisseur and I’ve recently entered into the realm of waffle-making (still a work in progress). Birthdays are my specialty, as an avid present wrapper with an itch for decorative excellence. If someone ever tells me their birthday, I remember it. I often find myself celebrating the birthdays of people I no longer know, even if it’s the only detail I really had about them.
