“Stand on that chair over there and scream!” she told me. I looked down at my feet and then up at the audience of twenty in front of me. I had come to really like these people, and if I pondered if I made a wrong move, would I become the laughing stock of my acting class? But then I quickly came to the realization that somehow it’d be worse if I didn’t commit. I’ll do what’s true to the character. I stood up on the chair and screamed.
