Day 331

I had to stop myself from falling in the pool. My foot was practically dangling over the edge as I high kicked and step-brush-hopped on the wet concrete. The take had to be perfect, my mom had to be at a coffee with her friend she hadn’t seen in forever since moving to Nashville. I stumbled backwards away from the water and started the accordion soundtrack again. My mom held up her phone and pressed record. “One more shot,” I thought to myself.
