Now I lay my head to rest

Dreaming of a world that is best

Skies of cotton candy swirls

And happily dancing little girls

Trees as far as the eye can see

The only thing missing is me

I sit in bed, cold and adrift

Waiting for my heart to lift

But that day never dawns
