After a while, she reached her destination. The exterior of the library was ordinary and somewhat unwelcoming, unlike the lively community libraries found in other towns. Upon entering through the wooden doors, she noticed that only half of the library lights were on, with the librarian sitting in the far-off corner desk casting a shadow. She began exploring the shelves, examining each book's spine carefully and occasionally giving them a gentle touch to test their condition. Suddenly, her attention was drawn to a person, not an object.
