As the sisters headed to inspect their quarters, a man sat wearily on an old ottoman in the hallway, seemingly having strained his back from the extensive walking they had done. While most of the boys returned to their room, Joey remained in the hall and crouched down to converse with the man at eye level on the ottoman. He posed the question that had been on everyone's mind since they had met that afternoon.

"Excuse me, sir, would you mind telling me your name?"

The old man's eyes went up to meet the little boy's, with a slight grin on his face, yet he said nothing.
