Day 247

Prompt: You’re sitting by a window watching the flakes slowly and silently fall. Suddenly, you see something outside that snaps you out of your reverie.

Lounging by a window, I watched as snowflakes cascaded down from the sky. They were barely visible, just white specks in a vast pale blue sky. All of a sudden, something caught my eye just outside. It was a dark figure slithering through my icy street. I pressed my nose against the glass in order to get a better look. I squinted my eyes hard and could finally recognize something about the person. I saw what looked like a large gray bag over their shoulder. He opened it up with a gentle manner on a pile of snow, and in a split second, he shot through the air like a rocket. I ran out the door to see where he went, but all that was left was his wool glove stuck to the ice.
