I personally would not want to be a social media star. Even as someone with a private social media account, I feel a level of pressure to perform for my following. Social media has the ability to take away from beautiful experiences by prioritizing content over being present. Turning myself into a product for people to consume goes against what I believe contributes to my happiness. I used to be far more driven by attention, but I have come to realize that the attention I really care about comes from my loved ones.
