Day 162

Prompt: Gravity no longer exists.

A world without gravity is a perplexing place. Everything that used to be planted on the Earth now flew through the air, from trees to homes to cars. Even people floated up toward the galaxy, their bodies eventually looking like spots of dust in a vast blue sky. At first it felt like some type of dream. Children skipped through the streets giggling with joy as their feet left the ground. But soon enough, everyone came to realize how hard life could be in this new way of life. After a lot of trial and error, humans eventually developed ways to adapt to their new weightless world and live their lives as normally as possible. Gravity may have been gone but humankind's resilience remained.
