Day 145

It astounds me how people can find joy in the smallest of things. I smile when I think of the rain pouring down on the roof or the look of engagement on my sister's face while watching her favorite TV show. My mom smirks whenever my siblings and I jokingly sing together or give my dog belly rubs. I saw a lady on the street this morning glance happily at a bustling cafe filled with hardworking people just trying to get through their day. I appreciate the days that I am able to see past my preoccupations and really enjoy the simplicities that life has to offer.
