Day 101

I missed another day... so sorry I've been so inconsistent, I got home from Birmingham at 1 am last night. Anyways, I'm officially in triple-digit days!

Sensing that I was staring at her, she blurted out, “Hi there little lady!”

At the moment I took great offense to the phrase “little lady” - wanting to feel old and experienced in life like the others in the room. My face turned an unflattering red color like the inside of a grapefruit. “Oh leave her alone Fiona,” a voice from the bunk above her jokingly said. This young woman had a general distaste for whatever we were talking about, not even daring to face my way, just speaking because she could tell I was embarrassed without even looking at me.
